Your questions, answered

Everything you want to know about accessing electric vehicles—simplified and clear.

Contractor Fleets

Can the vans be configured for trade work and equipment?
Yes. Cargo vans support shelving, storage, and equipment setups commonly used by contractors and service technicians.
Will EVs handle daily driving demands?
Most contractor and service routes fall within 50–120 miles per day, which fits comfortably within the vehicle’s 162-mile range.
How do EVs reduce costs for contractors?
EVs eliminate oil changes, reduce brake wear, and lower overall energy costs—helping reduce total operating expenses over time.

Last-Mile Delivery

Are the vans delivery-ready or do they require upfitting?
Our ProMaster EV vans are configured for delivery operations and can be deployed quickly. They can support delivery routes immediately, helping operators avoid downtime and additional installation costs unlike many commercial vans that require extensive upfitting.
How quickly can delivery fleets get vehicles on the road?
Once approved and the lease agreement is signed, vehicles can typically be delivered within 10–15 business days.
Are EV vans practical for delivery routes?
Yes. Most last-mile routes fall well within typical EV range, making them a strong fit for daily delivery operations.

Small Business

Can new businesses qualify?
Yes. We work with new and growing operators by evaluating business activity and plans—not just traditional financing criteria.
Why is this helpful for new operators?
Access to a reliable vehicle is often the biggest barrier to getting started. This program helps you get on the road quickly with a dependable vehicle.
How is this different from renting?
Rentals are short-term and don’t build long-term value. This model provides consistent access to a vehicle with predictable costs, supporting long-term business growth.
Do you offer short-term or seasonal rentals?
Seasonal rental options may be available during peak periods. You can join the waitlist for high-demand months.

Rideshare & Gig Drivers

What do I need to qualify?
  • Minimum credit score of 450
  • At least 1 year of rideshare or gig driving experience

Do you check credit?

How much is the downpayment?
The total refundable deposit is $500. You can either:
  • Pay the full amount upfront, or
  • Split it into two payments—$250 to reserve your vehicle and $250 due at pickup
Can I use the car for Uber, Lyft, or delivery?
Yes. Vehicles can be used across major platforms, including:
  • Uber
  • Lyft (platform requirements may vary)
  • Uber Eats
  • DoorDash
  • Other gig platforms
  • Personal use
Is there a mileage limit?

When do payments start?
Payments begin the first Monday after you pick up your vehicle. For example: If you pick up on a Tuesday, your first payment is due the following Monday.
Who is responsible for maintenance?
Drivers are responsible for routine maintenance and wear items, including:
  • Tires
  • Brakes
  • Windshield and wipers
  • Cosmetic or body damage
Manufacturer warranties cover major components, including battery-related systems.
What happens if the car breaks down?
If the issue is covered under warranty, repairs are handled accordingly. If not, the driver is responsible for coordinating towing and repairs.
What if I return the vehicle early?
You can return the vehicle at any time, but:
  • You will not take ownership
  • Fees may apply depending on condition and repairs needed
